Sometimes a sunset is more spectacular then expected. This was one of this moments when I almost forgot to lift my camera to take a picture. I wasn’t expecing it to be more then an ordinary summer sunset, when suddenly the sky exploded in warm yellow-orange colours. The beautiful light was reflected in the calm river and I ran upstream to get a nice composition. I stood there, stunned by what I saw, almost forgetting what I had planned to do. But then I bent down, immediately attacked by thousands of mosquitoes, and took five or six pictures. Then the magical moment had passed. But I knew that it was there in my camera – but more importantly – in my memory.
