I live close to a Nature Reserve – Reivo. They are planning to make it in to a National Park, which I hope for. Last summer, in the end of June, I saw the storm clouds gathering on the sky. I hastly drove to one of the lakes in the reserve. It was calm like a mirror, and the summer evening light was unusual blue because of the approaching storm. I found some beautiful rocks, put up my tripod and waited. The clouds came closer and closer and I could hear the thunder in the distance. It was unusual quiet – like the nature was holding it’s breath. I started to take pictures, when the surface suddenly was broken by a fish trying to catch an insect. The rings of it slowly spread on the water and disappeared. I took some more photos. Then I felt a slight cold breeze on my arm and I knew what was coming. Fast. In a hurry I gathered my things, jogged to the car, threw in the stuff and parked in the front seat. At the last minute. The sky opened and the heavy rain hit the ground. The closing thunder felt like a small vibration in the air.
